Jeffery Yau is a seasoned graphic designer and world-renowned crayfish expert. As a teenager, he enjoyed exploring the mountains, connecting with nature through flowers, birds, insects, and fish. Growing up, he was deeply influenced by anime and science fiction films. After graduating from design school, he entered the advertising industry, later resigning from his position as Creative Director to establish his own design company.
He co-founded the trendy brand store Stussy Hong Kong Tribe and successfully created the world-renowned crayfish specialty shop "Crayfish Keepers." In 2012, he published his first book, "Crayfish Fever." His photography, articles, and interviews have been featured in various magazines and media, including the renowned German aquarium magazine Caridina. He has been invited multiple times to serve as an international judge at global pet expos.
In 2018, Jeffery began conceptualizing his first toy, "OBA," and subsequently established his own toy brand, Bigclawx. In 2024, he was honored as “The Best Designer Award” at the Amazing Toy Show held at K11 Musea in Hong Kong.
